Leopard seals eat fish, krill, and penguins. Leopard seals can stay underwater for like a whole recess. Isn't that so cool? That is 15-30 minutes. They also weigh 1,000 pounds!

I found this super picture through Google. It’s the anatomy of a leopard seal!

  1. Hey Colin!
My favorite part about your blog post is that you remembered how long leopard seals can stay underwater! Did you know that when a leopard seal goes underwater, its nose automatically closes up? That's how they stay underwater for so long!

  2. Dear Colin,
I like that you know a lot about leopard seals. Did you know that leopard seals eat other seals? Do you remember why leopard seals are called leopard seals? It is because they have whiskers and spots like a big cat leopard.
